CAREGIVERS
As a caregiver, your world revolves around the well-being of your child. Whether you’re navigating doctor appointments, treatments, or the daily uncertainty of living with a life-threatening illness, it often feels like there’s no space left for you. The weight of constant worry, emotional exhaustion, and putting your needs last can quickly become overwhelming.
I know this because I’ve been there. My experience lies in caring for a child with cystic fibrosis and diabetes, but any caregiver supporting their child through a life-threatening illness is family. The emotional toll of caregiving is universal—no matter the diagnosis.
Having spent years in cystic fibrosis and diabetes care, both as a medical practitioner and as a parent, I understand the unique challenges you face. The constant balance of managing your child’s health, trying to maintain some semblance of normalcy, and navigating your own emotions can be all-consuming. It’s easy to lose sight of your own well-being when every moment feels focused on survival.
Through coaching, I offer caregivers a space to reconnect with themselves, process the emotional weight they’ve been carrying, and learn how to care for their own needs while continuing to support their child.
Together, we’ll work on:
Rebuilding your self-care routine – Rediscover what it means to care for you without the guilt.
Managing the emotional weight – Find healthier ways to navigate the constant stress, fear, and uncertainty that come with caregiving.
Building resilience – Strengthen your emotional and mental resilience so you can continue supporting your child while also caring for yourself.
Reclaiming your identity – Learn how to balance your role as a caregiver with your personal identity, so you don’t lose yourself in the process.
